Free Item License
You can use the free items at Design Panoply for both personal and commercial use. You may not resell any items downloaded under a Free License in any form.
Regular License
A Regular License entitles you both personal and commercial use. You may not resell any items purchased under a Regular License in any form.
- Allowed Usage: A Regular License allows you to use purchased files in a project of your own or on behalf of a client. For example, you can use files purchased under a Regular License to design business cards, brochures, websites, fliers, or banners.
- Illegal Usage: You may not resell any items purchased under a Regular License in any form. For example, if you create a business card template or a Wordpress theme that you sell to others, you may not include any files purchased under a Regular License.
Extended License
- Allowed Usage: An Extended License allows you to use purchased files in a project of your own or on behalf of a client. You may also include files purchased under an Extended License in design templates or themes for sale, as long as the purchased file doesn't make up the majority of the design. For example, you can use a Photoshop style from Design Panoply to style the text in the header of a website template for sale.
- Disallowed Usage: You may not resell any items purchased under an Extended License in their original form, as part of a collection of files, or if they make up the majority of a template for sale. For example, if you purchase a pattern from Design Panoply, change the colors, and add some text, you may not resell the template to others without making other significant changes.

PanoPass Members
As a PanoPass member, you get Extended Licensing on every product during the term of your membership. After your membership expires, all products you have downloaded revert to a Regular License.
